You may have read our piece on the "All Pass Candy" tradition in Taiwanese universities, but that is far from the only tradition that takes place in schools in Taiwan.
Just as Secret Santa is commonly played in the West around Christmas time, Taiwanese students have their own similar game, which could be translated as "little angel and little master". The basic idea of the game is the same, but the gift giving isn't a one-time thing in Taiwan; rather, it involves multiple gifts and takes place over multiple days in December! 〈小天使和小主人〉
十二月會有聖誕節，在台灣的學校，學生會在聖誕節的時候玩一個叫「小天使小主人」的遊戲。
這個遊戲要怎麼玩？在十二月的時候，同學們會抽籤，每一個人會抽到一個同學，這個同學會是你的「小主人」。到聖誕節以前，你要為你的小主人做一些好事，例如在他的桌子上放餅乾、小點心或是卡片。但是，你不能被小主人發現你是誰，你就是這一個人的「小天使」。
在抽籤的時候，也會有其他同學抽到你的名字，所以你是小天使、也會是小主人，會有另外一個小天使為你做一些好事情。到了聖誕節那天，就是知道答案的時候了：小天使會告訴小主人自己是誰，小主人也要準備聖誕節禮物送給他的小天使，感謝小天使在這個月做的事情。
在高中的時候，我玩過一次這個遊戲。十二月的冬天很冷，我的小天使每天都會放一杯熱巧克力在我的桌子上，我覺得有一個小天使真的是一件很幸福的事情！
