We know death and taxes are certainties in life, but in Taiwan you can add experiencing typhoons to the list. And in Taiwan, people have mixed feelings towards them. On the one hand, they cause a lot of damage, destruction, and sometimes even death, but on the other hand, their heavy rains can replenish Taiwan's reservoirs. And oh yeah, students and workers may get to stay home and enjoy a "typhoon day".

人們因為生活在不同區域，對颱風有不同的想法，可能希望颱風帶來颱風假與水資源，也可能害怕颱風帶來的災害。無論如何，颱風在台灣扮演一個重要的角色。如果你有朋友生活的區域會遇到颱風，也可以問問他對颱風的想法！
